On the premises of the Magistral Villa at the Aventine in Rome H.E. Ambassador Mauro Bertero, member of the Sovereign Council, was delighted to grant the Cross with Shield of the Order pro Merito Melitensi to Dr. Laura Lile for her commitment to the humanitarian activities of the Order of Malta in Jordan sustaining high level medical programmes to the newly delivered Mobile Clinic in order to assist the most underserved children in the rural areas of Jordan regarding pediatrics, neuro-disabilities and diabetes prevention.

Laura Lile is the founder of a important pharmaceutical group in the Unitet States that is involved in research programs and has registered (FDA) an advanced new drug for Covid-19.

Also involved in this project of assistance to those in need is the Cardinal Domenico Bartolucci Foundation a musical Institution based in Rome which collaborates with the Embassy of the Order of Malta to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and promotes prestigious concerts and cultural events around the world.
